The goal of Euan Fry‘s passion for translating Scripture was that people would be transformed when they read/heard the Word of God in
their own languages. And Euan himself has always been, and is, a living testimony to the message of Scripture.
Robert Bratcher, a former UBS translation consultant and chief
translator of the NT for the Good News Translation as well as chairman
of the committee of seven that translated the OT, is a colleague and friend of Euan‘s. The message he delivered at the UBS Triennial Translation Workshop in 2003 is the testimony of a translator and scholar, and is included as a tribute to Euan's faithful stewardship of his calling to proclaim and live the message of Scripture.
