MAP is the largest online interagency community for Bible translation. Members include around 700 specialists from a wide range of fields, organisations, and nationalities.
The content expands beyond narrow technical subjects, including announcements and discussions, and topics relating to the larger issues of Bible translation theory and practice, training, linguistics, cross-cultural communication, orality, and more.
The site is open to all, though registration is required to create new posts or respond to existing topics. By registering, you can post questions, access bookmarks, customised feeds, groups, and email digests if desired.
MAP stands for ‘Modular Aggregation of Principles for Bible Translation’, reflecting the intention that the materials collated here would serve as a useful resource base for training courses.
