From the 15th century until the present the languages of Norway and Denmark have undergone rapid and drastic changes resulting in a chaotic situation. Sets forth the problems encountered as a result in making a new translation of the Scriptures which appeared in 1959. The youth in the public schools were particularly kept in mind as the new translation was made.
